All bidders will be required to validate their account and post a $3,000 Good Faith Authorization Charge prior to being able to place a bid.
What is a Good Faith Authorization Charge?
A Good Faith Authorization Charge will not go towards the purchase of the property, and it is not a deposit. It is a hold that allows us to validate your account and confirm that you are a serious bidder.
Once the authorization is approved, this charge will appear as a hold on your credit card. If you are using a debit card, the Good Faith Authorization Charge will appear as a pending transaction. Acceptable Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

The Auction Ended – Now What?
The winning bidder will then be required to post the initial deposit amount, as specified within the terms of the sale. All deposits must be received no later than February 24, 2021 4:00 PM EST. All deposits shall be in the form of Bank Wire or Cashier's Check. NO Personal Checks, Business Checks, or ACH Transfers are accepted. Deposits shall be made payable to Ashland Auction Group, LLC. Once the winning bidder signs a contract of sale and tenders a deposit, their Good Faith Authorization Charge will be released.
Unfortunately, there can only be one winner. We appreciate your business and will initiate a release of the hold once the auction ends. Depending on your banking institution, it can take up to two days to have the hold removed and available. Once the hold is released, the funds will become available immediately. In some cases, a release of the Good Faith Authorization Charge may take longer. We kindly ask that all bidders check with their financial institution if they have any questions regarding the availability of funds on your credit/debit card.
Interested in Multiple Properties?
Since these properties are all within the same auction event, you will be able to register and bid on multiple properties with only one $3,000 Good Faith Authorization Charge. Please understand that the entire auction event must be concluded before any Good Faith Authorization Charges can be refunded.
Security
Any credit or debit card that is entered into AshlandAuction.com is processed through our payment gateway. Using our vendor’s secure payment gateway, we leave security up to the professionals. Your information is not being written down on a sticky note on somebody’s desk. In fact, your banking information is not even visible to our team at Ashland Auction Group. Bidders can safely provide their credit card information without worrying about where their information is being stored.
